September 4: The 8th China-Russia Energy Business Forum was held in Vladivostok, Russia. Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory message to the forum.
Xi Jinping noted that this year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the China-Russia strategic partnership and the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Good-Neighborliness and Friendly Cooperation Between the People’s Republic of China and the Russian Federation.
Despite complex and profound changes in the international situation, the China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination for a new era has continued to develop at a high level. China-Russia energy cooperation has also achieved significant results, providing strong impetus for the joint development of the two countries and becoming a model of mutually beneficial cooperation.
Xi Jinping stressed that the international energy landscape is currently undergoing profound changes, presenting both opportunities and challenges. China is ready to work with Russia to further deepen energy cooperation and jointly ensure the stable and smooth operation of energy industrial and supply chains.
On the same day, Russian President Vladimir Putin also sent a congratulatory message to the 8th China-Russia Energy Business Forum.
