Guangzhou Emerges as a Platform for International Cooperation on SME Development

September 4: The 32nd Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) Ministerial Meeting was held in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, China.

The APEC SME Ministerial Meeting plays an important role in clarifying development priorities for the Asia-Pacific region, building consensus and promoting practical cooperation. It also serves as a key platform for advancing inclusive growth, innovative development and regional economic integration within APEC.

During the meeting, the 21st China International Small and Medium Enterprises Fair will also be held. More than 500 high-quality overseas enterprises and international organisations from over 40 countries and regions are expected to participate in the fair.
