The Malaysian Prime Minister H.E. Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Hon’ble Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus held a tete-a-tete followed by a bilateral talks at the hotel Inter-Continental, this afternoon.
Two leaders discussed issues of mutual interests including Bangladesh-Malaysia cooperation in the fields of political, economic, trade & investment, education, technology, manpower, infrastructure development.
Issues of repatriation of the Forcibly Displaced Myanmar Nationals (FDMN) and Bangladesh’s bid for ASEAN Sectoral Dialogue Partnership, economic development, governance and commencing of Free Trade Agreement (FTA) negotiations were featured prominently in the discussion.
After the bilateral talks, a high tea was hosted by Hon’ble Chief Adviser in honour of the visiting Prime Minister.
