The Prime Minister of Malaysia H.E. Dato Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim has arrived in Dhaka this afternoon on an official visit. This is the first visit by any head of government since the Interim Government assumed office. Hon’ble Chief Advisor, Professor Muhammad Yunus welcomed the Malaysian Prime Minister at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. The welcome ceremony included red-carpet reception, guard of honour and gun salute.
H.E. Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim is accompanied by a high-level delegation comprising Foreign Ministers, Trade, Industry and Investment Minister, Deputy Ministers and senior officials of the Malaysian government. During the visit, he will hold meetings with the Hon’ble Chief Adviser and Hon’ble President.
