Secret talks with Syria Israel’s

The occupying Israel is secretly negotiating to establish diplomatic relations with Syria.

Recently, several secret talks have taken place between Israeli and Syrian officials, according to the Zionist media outlet Channel-12.

Last Wednesday, US President Donald Trump met with the new Syrian President Ahmed Al-Sarrah during his visit to Saudi Arabia. At that time, he urged Sara to establish relations with Israel. Later, he said, Sara said ‘yes’ to this.

Channel-12 reported that the United Arab Emirates is mediating these secret talks between the occupying Israel and Syria.

However, another Israeli media outlet, Haaretz, reported that Qatar is mediating between Israel and Syria and that this has been going on for several months.

Last month, Ahmed Al-Sarrah confirmed that they had security talks with the occupying Israel. However, he did not say anything about establishing possible diplomatic relations.

Channel 12 reported that such a meeting was recently held in Azerbaijan. Israel was represented there by Major General Oded Basuk, head of the Defense Forces (IDF) Operations Directorate. He met with representatives of the new Syrian government. Representatives from Turkey were also present at the time.

Channel 12 reported, citing several Israeli sources, that since Syrian President Ahmed al-Sarrah was a fighter in the Syrian branch of Al-Qaeda, Israel initially did not want to have any contact with him. But now Israel has changed this position. They believe that under Sarrah’s leadership, Syria will come out of Iran’s influence and will be friendly with the United States. And if they can establish relations with Syria, relations with Turkey will also be good. Source: Times of Israel, Channel 12, Haaretz
