The Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) reports that at least 550 people have been killed after joint U.S. and Israeli military strikes targeted 131 cities across Iran. The organization released the updated casualty and damage figures on Monday.
According to the IRCS, rescue and relief operations are continuing “without interruption” under the leadership of its humanitarian response teams. Emergency units have been deployed across all affected regions, and more than 100,000 rescue personnel remain on high alert nationwide.
The Red Crescent added that a nationwide network of approximately four million volunteers is currently prepared to deliver humanitarian assistance, essential services, and psychological support to communities impacted by the attacks.
The organization emphasized that teams are already on the ground in multiple provinces, delivering emergency aid and coordinating evacuations where necessary.
