The six-day China-South Asia Expo ended on June 25 (Tuesday). A press briefing held on the day said that a total of 31 project agreements were signed at this year’s Expo, and the investment amount stood at 13.609 billion yuan, which is 33 percent more than the last Expo.
In addition to investment and cooperation projects, a total of 153 commercial agreements were signed at this year’s Expo, with a total value of 8.479 billion yuan. The number of visitors exceeded 500,000. This Expo has become an important platform to strengthen cooperation between China and South Asian countries.
73 countries, regions and international organizations from the world and 2,500 companies participated in this year’s Expo. In addition, more than 3,000 foreign buyers from South Asia and East-South Asia came to the Expo.
