The China-Bangladesh Friendship Centre is pleased to announce the successful completion of its “Iftar Meet & Get Together,” held on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at 5:00 PM at “At The Table Restaurant”, Boro Mogh Bazar. The event celebrated the spirit of Ramadan and strengthened the bonds of friendship between China and Bangladesh.
The evening began with a heartfelt recitation from the Holy Quran, setting a peaceful tone. Mr. Shariful Islam, Secretary of Social Welfare of the China-Bangladesh Friendship Centre, welcomed guests with a speech on unity, cultural exchange, and collaboration. He highlighted the shared values and growing friendship between the two nations.
Presided over by Vice President Mr. Mohammad Kamrul Hassan, the event featured engaging discussions on community engagement and cross-cultural understanding. The presence of General Secretary Dr. Fakhrul Islam Babu, who joined online from abroad, added a dynamic element to the program, enhancing its impact.
A significant highlight of the evening was the presentation of awards to the winners of the 4th Anniversary Essay Writing Competition. The competition encouraged young people to express their thoughts on the bilateral relationship between Bangladesh and China. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the winners for their insightful and inspiring essays. The award winners are accordingly Md Mahbubur Rahman, S.M.Sayem & Mirza Asaduzzaman Nur.
The event included a special Dua (prayer) for reflection and gratitude, followed by Iftar, where attendees enjoyed a meal, fostering unity and camaraderie. The evening concluded with a vibrant photo session, capturing memorable moments.
The China-Bangladesh Friendship Centre thanks all attendees and contributors for making the event a success.
