With the aim of exporting skilled manpower, country-based training initiatives will be taken

Shafiqur Rahman Chowdhury MP, State Minister of Ministry of Expatriate Welfare and Foreign Employment, said that country-based training initiatives will be taken to send skilled manpower to various countries in the Middle East.

He said that the type of manpower will be sent to the country where there is a demand for such manpower. To that end, we will take measures to train skilled manpower through demand-based or country-based training.

He said these things in an exchange meeting organized in a hotel in Dubai today Saturday (May 25). The chairman or chief executive of 16 top companies from among the companies that import manpower from Bangladesh to the UAE were invited.

Ambassador of Bangladesh to United Arab Emirates Md. Abu Zafar, Additional Secretary of Ministry of Expatriate Welfare and Foreign Employment Khairul Alam, Consul General of Bangladesh Consulate, Dubai and Northern Emirates BM Jamal Hossain, Consulate officials were present at the time.

When asked about the delay in visa processing of most of the companies, the state minister said that a solution initiative will be taken after discussing the matter with the concerned parties.

Calling for the recruitment of more skilled manpower from Bangladesh, the State Minister called for initiatives to be taken to introduce unskilled manpower visas.

In the meeting, they discussed with the Minister of State for Expatriate Welfare and Foreign Employment what steps can be taken to send skilled manpower to the United Arab Emirates, what kind of skilled manpower or what kind of skilled workers they need or what to do to send more workers from Bangladesh.
