Two lakh worshippers attend Laylatul Qadr in Al-Aqsa

Tarabi prayers were held at Al-Aqsa Mosque in Palestine on the 26th night of Ramadan. Nearly two lakh Palestinian worshippers attended the prayers held on Wednesday (March 27).

The Waqf Department, which runs Al-Aqsa Mosque, said that the highest number of worshippers were present at Al-Aqsa during the month of Ramadan. Despite the Israeli ban in Jerusalem, more than 180,000 worshippers attended the Taraweeh prayers.

Laylatul Qadr or Shab-e-Qadr is a glorious night. The Holy Quran was revealed on this night. However, the night is not specifically mentioned; rather, it can be any day of the last 10 days of Ramadan. The Holy Quran describes this night as better than a thousand nights.

Worshippers stay at Al-Aqsa Mosque and engage in special worship to gain the virtues of this night.
