Israeli Energy Minister Eli Cohen said that the Gaza Strip will be demilitarized. And the word ceasefire should be removed from the dictionary.
He told Israel’s Reshet Bet Radio.
When asked whether defeating Hamas or returning prisoners should be prioritized, Energy Minister Eli Cohen said that the government is committed to both.
He said, “The Israeli government will not give up on either of these two. The word ceasefire should be removed from the dictionary. The Gaza Strip will be demilitarized.”
The BBC reported that the Israeli Security Cabinet has approved a plan to further expand the scope of the military operation against Hamas in Gaza. In this way, Israel has planned to completely occupy and control the Gaza Strip.
Cohen also referred to Israel’s response to the Houthi missile attack.
He said, “Revenge should not be limited to Yemen. Iran is responsible for this – and they must pay the price.”
