Another 32 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks in the Palestinian Gaza Strip. More than fifty more were injured. This brings the death toll in the besieged valley to 51,260.
Al Jazeera reported this information in a separate report today, Wednesday (April 23).
Nearly 1,900 Palestinians have been killed since the start of the new Israeli attacks on Gaza on March 18.
The media outlet says that Israeli forces have continued to bomb Gaza and attacked the Al Dora Pediatric Hospital in Gaza City. In addition, Israel killed at least 32 Palestinians on Tuesday.
In a separate report, the Anadolu news agency said that the total death toll in the territory since October 2023 from Israel’s genocidal aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 51,266, the Gaza Health Ministry said on Tuesday.
The ministry said that more than 60 more people injured in the Israeli attack were taken to various hospitals in Gaza, bringing the total number of injured since the start of the conflict to 116,991. Many people are still lying under the rubble and on the streets, but rescuers have not been able to reach them.
According to the Health Ministry, nearly 1,900 Palestinians have been killed and another 4,950 injured in the renewed Israeli airstrikes on Gaza since March 18. The barbaric Israeli attack has broken the ceasefire agreement that came into effect in January this year.
The United Nations says that more than 85 percent of Gaza’s population has been displaced due to the ongoing aggression. In addition, 60 percent of the valley’s infrastructure has been partially or completely destroyed.
Earlier in November last year, the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
