India is buying military equipment from America

India is buying military equipment worth $131 million from America. The US State Department has already approved a proposal in this regard.

This information was given in a statement issued by the US State Department on Friday.

The statement said that India wants to buy Sea-Vision software and various accessories for its Navy from the US.

The US State Department’s statement said, “As part of the strategic alliance, the State Department has approved a proposal to sell Indo-Pacific Maritime Domain Awareness Software (Sea-Vision) and accessories to India. The package is worth $131 million.”

It is further stated, “This software will help India to deal with current and future threats in its maritime borders. C-Vision software can also play a role in strengthening the awareness, analytical capabilities and strategic position of the Indian Navy. India will not face any problem in integrating C-Vision and its components into its military fleet and this software will not change the basic military balance of South Asia.”

On April 22, the terrorist attack in Pehalgaon in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir, India, has led to extreme tension between the two arch-enemies of South Asia, India and Pakistan, for the last 11 days. International political and security analysts fear that war could break out between the two nuclear-armed countries at any time.
