Five-Year-Old Killed in Gaza: Israeli Soldiers Referred to ICC

The Hind Rajab Foundation has identified 24 additional Israeli soldiers allegedly involved in the killing of five-year-old Palestinian child Hind Rajab in Gaza last year. The foundation, established in the child’s name, announced on Tuesday that it will submit this information to the International Criminal Court (ICC).

Among those identified, the names of three senior commanders have been revealed: Colonel Benny Aharon, commander of the 401st Armored Brigade, who already faces criminal charges at the ICC; Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Ela, commander of the 52nd Armored Battalion; and Major Sean Glass, commander of the Vampire Empire Company. It is believed that Lieutenant Colonel Ela and Major Glass were directly involved in the killing.

The foundation stated that the names of the remaining 22 soldiers from the Vampire Empire Company will gradually be made public through national and international legal filings.

The accusations are supported by the Al Jazeera Arabic documentary “Ma Khafia Atham”. In accordance with Article 15 of the Rome Statute, the foundation submitted a 120-page detailed report to the ICC, including digital, satellite, and forensic evidence.

The evidence shows that the Vampire Empire Company’s Merkava IV tanks repeatedly fired on a black Kia Picanto carrying Hind and her family. Even the ambulance sent later to rescue them was targeted.
