The 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE or Shanghai Import Expo) will be held in Shanghai, China, from November 5 to 10.
All preparations for this year’s expo have been completed. A total of 155 countries, regions, and international organizations will participate, along with 4,108 foreign companies. The exhibition area has exceeded 430,000 square meters, setting a new record.
This year, the expo will showcase 461 new products, technologies, and services. Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, Nigeria, Georgia, Sweden, and Colombia will participate as the six guest countries. At the China Pavilion, the latest achievements in deepening overall reforms and promoting high-level openness under the 14th Five-Year Plan will be highlighted.
A total of 123 companies from Belt and Road partner countries will participate, marking a 23.1% increase from last year. Additionally, 163 companies from least-developed countries will take part, representing a 23.5% increase compared to the previous edition.
