China Calls for Balanced Resolution on TikTok Issue

Beijing, September 22- Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ku Jia Kun held a routine press briefing on Monday, addressing questions related to the popular app TikTok.

Responding to the inquiries, Ku stated that China’s position on the TikTok issue is clear. The Chinese government respects the company’s autonomy and welcomes commercial discussions based on market rules. He emphasized that adherence to Chinese laws and regulations, along with reaching a balanced resolution, is encouraged.

Ku further expressed China’s hope that the United States will provide an open, fair, and non-discriminatory business environment for Chinese companies seeking to invest in the U.S.
