Ceasefire Collapses in Gaza: Over 100 Palestinians Killed in Israeli Airstrikes

Despite the ongoing ceasefire agreement, Israeli occupation forces have unleashed fresh bloodshed in Gaza. Continuous airstrikes since early Wednesday morning have killed over 100 Palestinians, including at least 35 children, raising new doubts about U.S. President Donald Trump’s so-called “peace plan.”

Mahmoud Basal, spokesperson for Gaza’s Civil Defense, said in a statement that Israeli warplanes conducted indiscriminate bombings across central Gaza, the northern region, and the southern city of Rafah within less than 12 hours.

“The occupying forces have carried out a horrific massacre against civilians — a clear crime against humanity,” Basal stated.

The strikes have devastated Gaza City, Khan Younis, and several refugee camps in the central region. Many civilians remain trapped under the rubble, while hospitals and shelters have sustained severe damage, collapsing Gaza’s fragile healthcare system. Medical workers fear that the death toll could rise as many of the injured remain in critical condition.

Condemning the attacks, Gaza’s Civil Defense has urged the international community to take immediate and effective action to compel Israel to respect the ceasefire. It also called for the creation of humanitarian corridors, the dispatch of medical teams, and a comprehensive reconstruction initiative for Gaza.

Analysts warn that the renewed violence not only deepens Gaza’s humanitarian crisis but also threatens to derail the peace process and further destabilize the region.
