Asian Club Limited Attends Hong Kong SAR’s 28th Anniversary Celebration Hosted by Hong Kong Nepalese Federation

Hong Kong – July 30, 2025 — Asian Club Limited proudly participated in the 28th Anniversary Celebration of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), organized by the Hong Kong Nepalese Federation. The event was held on July 30, 2025, at Blue Ocean Restaurant & Bar in Yau Ma Tei and served as a vibrant platform to celebrate Hong Kong’s achievements and honor the contributions of ethnic minority volunteers.

The celebration was presided over by Mr. Rita Gurung, Chairperson of the Hong Kong Nepalese Federation, and featured a lively cultural program showcasing traditional performances. The event also included a formal ceremony where the Federation presented Certificates of Appreciation to dedicated volunteers. During this ceremony, Asian Club Limited’s President, Dr. Fakhrul Islam Babu, was honored with a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of the club’s ongoing support and contributions to the community.

The program ran from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm, with an opening ceremony at 7:30 pm. Attendees enjoyed a delicious buffet dinner, fostering cultural exchange and strengthening community bonds. The event received support from the Home Affairs Department and the Yau Tsim Mong District Office, highlighting the government’s commitment to ethnic cultural welfare and community development.

Dr. Babu expressed gratitude for the recognition and emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration among Hong Kong’s diverse communities. “Events like these inspire us to continue promoting cultural diversity and supporting community development efforts,” he stated.

The Hong Kong Nepalese Federation, established in 1998, continues to play a vital role in advocating for ethnic minority welfare and fostering multicultural harmony in Hong Kong.
