Ali Riaz was appointed as the head of the Constitution Reform Commission

Professor Ali Riaz has been appointed as the head of the Constitution Reform Commission of Bangladesh.

This information was given in the notification given by the Cabinet Department on Wednesday (September 18).

The announcement said that the chief adviser of the interim government in the address to the nation on September 11. Muhammad Yunus initially formed six commissions for reforms and announced the names of the heads of the commissions. As the head of the Constitution Reform Commission. The name of Shahdin Malik was mentioned. The name of Ali Riaz has been included instead of him as the head of this commission.

It is reported that Shahdeen Malik is unable to perform his duties as the head of the Constitution Reform Commission due to his professional engagement.

Ali Riaz will soon come to Bangladesh to take leave from his work to serve as the head of the Constitution Reform Commission.

Ali Riaz is a Distinguished Professor at Illinois State University, Senior Non-Resident Fellow of the Atlantic Council and President of the American Institute of Bangladesh Studies (AIBS)
