Iranian Fighter Jets Strike U.S. Bases in the Persian Gulf and Iraqi Kurdistan

Iranian Air Force fighter jets have carried out strikes on U.S. military bases located in the Persian Gulf and the Kurdistan region of Iraq, Iran’s Army Commander-in-Chief Amir Hatami told Iran News Network.

In an official statement, Iran’s military added that the operations were conducted in several phases, though no further details were provided.

Fresh explosions were also reported on Sunday morning in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, Doha in Qatar, and Tel Aviv in Israel. Multiple loud blasts were heard across Dubai, while residents in Doha reported at least 11 separate explosions shaking the city.

Earlier, Qatar’s Ministry of Interior confirmed that eight more people had been injured in the latest round of Iranian strikes, raising the total number of wounded in the country to 16. Authorities also reported limited structural damage in several areas.
