The news that the United States could be directly involved in the Iran-Israel conflict at any time is being widely circulated in the media. US President Donald Trump himself has further fueled speculation with multiple posts and statements on the issue. This time, even when facing reporters, Trump kept the matter vague.
Is the United States moving closer to attacking Iran’s nuclear facilities?
In response to a reporter’s question at the White House, US President Donald Trump said, “I can’t say that… you don’t really think I’m going to answer that question.”
He said, “You don’t know if I’m going to do it or not. You don’t know. I may or may not do it. I mean, nobody knows what I’m going to do.”
Trump said, “I can tell you this – Iran is in a lot of trouble, and they want to talk. And I said, ‘Why didn’t you talk to me before – all this death and destruction.’ Why didn’t you talk? I said, “Why didn’t you talk to me two weeks ago? You could have done better. You could have had a country.” Source: Al-Jazeera, BBC
