Trump’s 21-Point Plan: Permanent Ceasefire and Prisoner Release in Gaza

U.S. President Donald Trump has unveiled a new plan for a ceasefire in the blockaded Gaza Strip.

The 21-point plan was presented during a meeting with Arab and Muslim leaders in New York on Tuesday night local time.

According to U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, several top officials from the Trump administration, including President Trump, attended the session with the Arab leaders.

Witkoff stated that the discussions were highly productive. President Trump presented the 21-point ceasefire plan before the Arab leaders, aiming to halt violence and killings in Gaza while easing concerns of Israel and its neighbors. “I am confident that within the coming days we will be able to announce progress on this initiative,” he added.

Some points of Trump’s 21-point plan have already been reported in the media, including: the immediate release of all prisoners held by Hamas in Gaza, establishment of a permanent ceasefire, removal of Hamas influence from Gaza’s administration, and the phased withdrawal of Israeli forces from the region.
