US President Donald Trump has issued an executive order by imposing tariffs on all the largest commercial partners in Canada, Mexico and China.
He said that from Tuesday (February 7), almost all products in Mexico and Canada will have to pay 20 percent tariffs in the United States. On the other hand, he imposed a 5 percent tariff on Chinese products.
Canada and Mexico have decided to impose tariffs on US products immediately after the issuance of such an executive order. China, on the other hand, said they would complain to Trump’s decision to the international commercial organization and take similar action.
Trump has claimed that he has decided to impose tariffs to prevent the people of his country from poisonous drug Fenatil and to prevent illegal immigrants entry.
Mexican President Claudia Shinbam Pardo said in his response that the problem would not be solved by imposing tariffs. You have to discuss the problem to solve.
Trump alleged that the country’s government has direct contact with the drug emperors in Mexico and they helped them. In response to his allegations, Mexico’s president has counter -claimed that the US government should ensure that the drug emperors do not reach the weapons.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, on the other hand, said at a press conference, “We did not want to come to this place. We didn’t want it. But for the Canadians we will not be lagging behind. ”
Trudeau said his country would impose 20 percent tariff on the United States of US 1 billion. Out of which, the tariff will start from next Tuesday on the $ 5 billion product. And the rest will be imposed in 20 days.
