New Hope in the Light of Eid

The morning overflows with waves of light,
The city awakens from the hush of sleep.
New clothes, new hopes arise,
And every face searches for a smile.
Blessings flow from elders’ hearts,
In children’s eyes—pure delight.
Plates filled with sweets are passed around,
An unseen bridge of love and unity.
The fasting ends, the days of Ramadan close—
Today’s joy softens yesterday’s hunger.
Eid is not only a festival;
It is a day of love, of sharing, of peace within the soul
