Israeli forces carried out a series of airstrikes and gunfire attacks on at least eight towns in southern Lebanon, according to Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency.
The report said Israeli troops launched attacks at several locations across the southern region, including a large-scale ground operation in the town of Khiam involving heavy machine-gun fire. At the same time, Israeli warplanes conducted airstrikes in the Tayr Debba area of Tyre district.
Additional air raids were reported in the towns of Yatar, Sarbin, and Haddatha in Bint Jbeil district. The towns of Kfardounine and Froun also came under attack.
Meanwhile, aerial bombardments were also reported in the town of Jibbain in Tyre district.
No casualties have been reported so far following the attacks.
Local sources said Israeli military operations across southern Lebanon are intensifying steadily.
