Iran-Israel ‘Role in Ceasefire’, Trump’s name proposed for Nobel Peace Prize

US President Donald Trump’s name has been proposed for the Nobel Peace Prize for his ‘role in the ceasefire’ between Iran and Israel. US Congressman Buddy Carter officially sent the proposal to the Norwegian Nobel Committee on Tuesday (June 24).

In the letter, Buddy Carter mentioned, “Due to Donald Trump’s active diplomatic activities, the terrible war between Iran and Israel has stopped in a short time – in a way that many once thought was unthinkable. He is making an important contribution not only to the region, but to peace and stability in the entire world.”

79-year-old Trump said in a statement at midnight on Monday that Iran and Israel have agreed to a complete ceasefire, which took effect on Tuesday (June 24) morning and is still in place. The announcement was welcomed in the international arena.
