The Middle Eastern country of Iran has its own ‘top-secret’ artificial intelligence (AI) weapons, claimed Brigadier General Kioumars Heydari, commander of the country’s army’s infantry division.
He said that Tehran is ready to confront any threat from the enemy with determination.
Brigadier General Heydari said these things last Saturday.
He said, “We have very sophisticated weapons. Some of them are secret, even top-secret. They are so sophisticated that artificial intelligence has been used in them. Although they are still classified as conventional weapons, their capabilities are extraordinary.”
Brigadier General Heydari said these things in an interview given to Iran’s Al-Alam broadcast media.
According to him, these weapons have not yet been made public for strategic reasons. However, they are in a usable condition.
Kioumars noted that significant changes have occurred in Iran’s infantry since the war with Iraq from 1980 to 1988.
He said, “Today, our infantry has the ability to move quickly from one place to another, high efficiency, full ability to carry out attacks and the ability to attack quickly.”
Recently, the country’s President Masoud Pezeshkian praised the “strength and readiness” of the Iranian military.
He said, “The Iranian military is serving as a model for other countries. Iran has become an irresistible force in the West Asian region for its military personnel and security forces.” Source: Press TV
