If BNP succeeds in disrupting elections, undemocratic forces will rise in the country

State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Mohammad Ali Arafat commented that if BNP succeeds in thwarting the elections, undemocratic forces would have emerged in the country.

He made this comment while speaking as the guest of honor at the iftar distribution ceremony organized by Bangladesh Awami Jubo League on the occasion of the birthday of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Children’s Day on March 17 at South Point School and College ground in Mohakhali of the capital.

The Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting also said that BNP wanted to thwart the election on January 7. Awami League has failed the people of this country.

He told the BNP to leave the unconstitutional unpoliticized politics of pandering to foreign masters, burning people with arson and disrupting elections, and return to practicing pure politics. Be respectful of democracy, politicize the electoral process.

President of Bangladesh Awami Jubo League Sheikh Fazle Shams Parsh presided over the event and State Minister of Women and Child Affairs Ministry and Bangladesh Awami League Presidium member Simin Hossain Rimi were present as the chief guest.
