Houthi missile attack on Israeli airport

Sirens, panic and smoke in the sky over Tel Aviv. The question now is what next in Israel and the entire Middle East? In response to Israel’s massacre and blockade in Gaza, the Yemeni armed forces have claimed to have carried out a precision military operation on Ben Gurion Airport.

A statement from the Yemeni armed forces said that two sophisticated ballistic missiles were used in the operation on Tuesday (June 10, 2025). One of them is a hypersonic ‘Palestine 2’ missile and one is a ‘Zulfiqar’ missile. The statement further claimed that one of the missiles penetrated Israeli defenses and hit the airport directly.

The attack has disrupted air traffic in and around Tel Aviv. Residents have been forced to take shelter and air raid sirens have been heard across the sky. The Yemeni armed forces have announced that their operations in Gaza will continue until the Israeli aggression stops and the blockade is lifted.

The statement reiterated the ban on flights at Ben Gurion Airport. Airlines were called on to immediately suspend all flights. In response to the Israeli attack on Hodeidah, the Yemeni forces warned companies not to engage with the port of Haifa, as it is now a designated target.
