Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Saber Hossain Chowdhury said that there is no exemption for terrorists, oppressors of people, looters and land grabbers. Administration and police have been instructed to maintain peace and order in the country. This government is the government of the common people, the government of every man. All citizens are treated equally. We will stand by the people in the future as well.
The Environment Minister said these things on Friday in the speech of the chief guest at the distribution of sarees and lungis as Eid gifts among about 1200 families of Ward No. 74 of Dhaka South City Corporation at Golarbari Bridge Nandipara.
The Environment Minister said that the government has stood by the backward, deprived people. They are being distributed daily necessities including rice, dal, potato, oil, semai, saree, lungi. Leaders and workers of Awami League are engaged in good work competition. Being with the people is important to them. We are trying to take people from darkness to light.
Dhaka South City Corporation Ward No. 5 Councilor Chitta Ranjan Das, First Elected Councilor Ward No. 74 Abul Kalam Azad, Dhaka South City Corporation Reserved Women Councilor Nasrin Ahmed and local Awami League and its organizational leaders were present at the time.
The Environment Minister then distributed clothes as Eid gifts among 1000 families of Ward No. 73 of Dhaka South City Corporation at Manikdia Idrisia Dakhil Madrasa.
