China Media Group (CMG) has revealed the sub-venues for the 2026 Spring Festival Gala, scheduled to take place in four locations: Harbin in Heilongjiang Province, Yiwu in Zhejiang Province, Hefei in Anhui Province, and Yibin in Sichuan Province.
Zhang Guo Fei, responsible person of CMG’s Art and Culture Center, stated that the Spring Festival Gala is a significant cultural symbol for Chinese people worldwide, serving as a bridge to connect people globally and unite national sentiments. The 2026 gala aims to showcase the cultural beauty and development of various regions through a seamless program design, connecting the main venue with branch venues and highlighting the new atmosphere of “unstoppable momentum” in the new era.
Lan Feng, Standing Committee member and Propaganda Department head of Harbin City’s CPC, said the Harbin sub-venue will blend modern fashion with traditional charm, technological appeal with ice and snow wonders, and international splendor with northern folk customs. “We cordially invite guests from home and abroad to visit the Ice City Harbin, enjoy the ice and snow scenery, and celebrate the Spring Festival together.”
Ye Pang Rui, Standing Committee member of Yiwu City’s CPC and Secretary of Yiwu City’s CPC Committee, stated that Yiwu is a crucial connection point for the land and maritime Silk Road and is deeply involved in the Belt and Road Initiative. Yiwu Global Digital Trade Center is leading a new trend in global trade.
Shan Hu, Standing Committee member, General Secretary, and Propaganda Department head of Hefei City’s CPC, said Hefei prioritizes science and technology, plays a significant role in the country’s scientific and technological self-reliance, and strives to be a pioneer in building a manufacturing powerhouse. “We eagerly await working with the Spring Festival Gala production team to showcase Anhui’s beauty.”
Lei Tao, Standing Committee member and Propaganda Department head of Yibin City’s CPC, stated that the Yibin sub-venue will showcase a new Yibin, highlighting the blend of tradition and modernity, the mighty Yangtze River, rich wine culture, green bamboo forests, and modern industries to the world.
