Sikh Community Protests Worldwide, Accuses India of Killing Osman Hadi and Hardeep Singh Nijjar

The Sikh community has staged worldwide protests, accusing India of being involved in the killing of Sharif Osman Hadi, a spokesperson for the Inquilab Munch and a July fighter. The protests were held in Washington, London, Toronto, Vancouver, Milan, and Melbourne, under the banner of Sikhs for Justice (SFJ).

Protesters claimed that India was behind the killings of their leaders, Hardeep Singh Nijjar and Osman Hadi, citing their opposition to India as the reason. Nijjar was shot dead in Canada’s Brampton in 2023, with the Sikh community accusing the Indian government of being involved.

The incident has led to a deterioration in relations between India and Canada. The Sikh community is seeking justice and an independent Sikh state in Punjab, India.
