Beijing: U.S. Actions Under Investigation to Ensure Fair Trade

The China Semiconductor Industry Association (CSIA) has encouraged China’s Ministry of Commerce to investigate certain U.S. products and measures.

In a statement, the association said, “China’s Ministry of Commerce announced on Saturday that it will conduct an anti-dumping investigation on analog chips imported from the United States, as well as a countervailing investigation into U.S. measures affecting China’s integrated circuits. We support this initiative. A fair environment is essential for the healthy development of the semiconductor industry. We endorse continuous technological innovation by various companies, upstream-downstream cooperation across the industry chain, and international collaboration based on equality and mutual benefit. In accordance with market rules, we support the development of the semiconductor sector. CSIA will actively support and cooperate with the Chinese government’s investigation and safeguard fair trade and the legitimate rights of the industry.”
