Beijing Voices Support for Nepal’s Restoration of Social Stability

Following recent protests and violent clashes that have unsettled Nepal’s political landscape, China has expressed hope that the Himalayan nation will soon restore order and stability.

At a regular press briefing in Beijing on Wednesday, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Qian said China and Nepal are traditional friendly neighbors. He expressed confidence that all sectors in Nepal would properly address internal challenges, restore social order, and ensure national stability.

Lin also urged Chinese nationals residing in Nepal to remain vigilant and prioritize their personal safety amid the ongoing unrest.
