Tammy Bruce Nominated by Trump as U.S. Deputy Representative to the UN

U.S. President Donald Trump has nominated Tammy Bruce to serve as the country’s Deputy Representative to the United Nations, with the rank of ambassador. She will assume the role upon confirmation by the Senate.

In a post on his social media platform, Truth Social, Trump stated that since the start of his second term in January, Bruce has served as spokesperson for the State Department, performing her duties with distinction.

Before joining the administration, Tammy Bruce spent more than two decades as a conservative analyst for Fox News. She is a bestselling author and a well-known television personality.

The nomination of Mike Waltz as the United States’ Permanent Representative to the United Nations is also pending Senate approval. In the meantime, former deputy representative Dorothy Shea is serving as acting permanent representative.
