Hong Kong Launches Free Cantonese Classes Organized by Asian Club Limited and China Bangladesh Friendship Center

Hong Kong, August 2, 2025 — The Asian Club Limited (亞會有限公司) and the China Bangladesh Friendship Center (CBFC 中孟友好中心) officially launched their Free Cantonese Language Classes on August 2nd, 2025. The initiative aims to promote cultural understanding and language proficiency among Hong Kong residents from diverse backgrounds.

The inaugural session included students from Bangladesh, Nepal, the Philippines, and Indonesia. Dr. Fakhrul Islam Babu (孫逸仙), founder of the CBFC and Asian Club Limited, initiated the program.

Organizers expressed appreciation for the support received from YTM District Councillor Ms. Aruna Gurung and thanked Mr. Oliver for his contribution.

Classes are scheduled to be held every Saturday and Sunday, with two sessions each day:

3:00 PM to 4:30 PM

4:30 PM to 6:00 PM

The free Cantonese courses are open to all residents interested in learning the language and exploring Hong Kong’s cultural heritage. Participants of all levels are welcome.
