Over 2,600 Palestinians Displaced as Israeli Forces Intensify Hebron Incursion for Fourth Day

HEBRON, Occupied West Bank — Israeli forces pressed ahead with an extensive military campaign across the Hebron Governorate for a fourth consecutive day on Monday, driving the number of displaced Palestinian residents past 2,600 amid mass arrests, strict blockades, and property seizures, according to humanitarian groups and local authorities.

Data released by the Hebron Support and Relief Committee confirmed that relentless operations, home evictions, movement restrictions, and civilian harassment have displaced at least 2,649 individuals—comprising roughly 450 families—since the operation began. Qatari news network Al Jazeera reported the developments on Monday.

Local witnesses reported that Israeli military convoys backed by armored vehicles entered the city late Sunday night through the Farsh al-Hawa entrance. Simultaneously, ground units raided residential neighborhoods in the southern sector of Hebron, conducting sweeping searches and confiscating numerous civilian vehicles.

Hebron Governor Khaled Doudin voiced grave alarm over the escalating crackdown, confirming that Israeli troops have detained at least 70 Palestinians over recent days.

“More than 450 families have now been rendered completely homeless, and over 500 residential properties have been subjected to forced military raids and searches,” Doudin stated.

The governor further condemned what he termed the deliberate isolation of the governorate, stating that Israeli authorities have severed municipal connections to the outside world using 128 reinforced iron gates and roughly 120 permanent and temporary military checkpoints.

Parallel to the West Bank incursions, deadly military operations continued across the besieged Gaza Strip. Medical officials reported that combined ground and aerial bombardments on the outskirts of southern Khan Younis killed at least three Palestinians and critically wounded more than ten others.
