Russian Military Transport Plane Crashes in Crimea, 29 Killed

At least 29 people have been killed after a Russian military transport aircraft crashed in the Russian-occupied region of Crimea. According to the country’s Ministry of Defense, the include six crew members on board the aircraft.

News agencies reported that the An-26 aircraft went down in a mountainous area near the Black Sea. While on a scheduled flight, the plane suddenly lost radar contact and crashed shortly afterward.
