On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the All-China Women’s Federation organized a special celebration in Beijing on Friday, highlighting the contributions of women to China’s development and progress.
At the event, Federation President Shen Yiqin stated that in China’s upcoming 15th Five-Year Plan (2026–2030), hundreds of millions of Chinese women will play a crucial role in the nation’s development and rejuvenation.
She also emphasized that as the world faces various changes and uncertainties, China is prepared to strengthen cooperation and exchange with all parties to ensure women continue to contribute meaningfully to global development and human progress.
The event was attended by over 1,000 guests, including senior female officials, political advisors, diplomats, and representatives from China’s Special Administrative Regions of Hong Kong and Macau.
Following the ceremony, attendees visited a special exhibition showcasing how China is using digital and artificial intelligence technologies to empower women and girls and improve their quality of life.
