On September 28, two special programs produced by China Media Group (CMG)  “The Heritage Guardian” and a lecture series on President Xi Jinping’s economic thought — were broadcast across mainstream media outlets in the Macao Special Administrative Region.

Meanwhile, the lecture series on Xi Jinping’s Economic Thought focused on implementing new development concepts, fostering a new development pattern, promoting high-quality growth, and advancing new forms of productivity. The series provided a clear interpretation of the core essence of Xi’s economic philosophy.

Macao’s Chief Executive Ho Iat Seng noted that Xi’s economic and cultural philosophies, together with his broader governance strategies, form the foundation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. He described it as both a valuable spiritual asset for China and a globally significant theoretical innovation.

He noted that President Xi has always shown deep concern for the well-being, prosperity, and development of Macao’s residents. Shen added that CMG’s two high-quality programs serve as vivid examples of helping Macao’s society better understand the leadership’s vision while deepening appreciation of Chinese civilization’s rich heritage and its remarkable achievements in the new era.
