The new executive committee of the Bangladesh Association of Hong Kong has been sworn in, and the EM news editor has been elected cultural secretary

Hong Kong, August 16, 2024—The Bangladesh Association of Hong Kong officially welcomed its new Executive Committee for the 2024-2026 term in a ceremonial oath-taking event held today at the Association’s office. The event, focused on portfolio distribution and the formal swearing-in of members, was moderated by the outgoing President, Syed Mohiuddin Mohi, and officiated by the Consul General of Bangladesh in Hong Kong, Ms. Israt Ara.

The ceremony was attended exclusively by Executive Committee members and officials from the Bangladesh Consulate. During the event, 11 dedicated individuals assumed their roles within the Executive Committee, having been elected last month. Each member took an oath of office, with specific portfolios outlining their responsibilities for the upcoming term.

Consul General Ms. Israt Ara emphasized the importance of dedication and community service as she administered the oath to the newly elected members.
