Hong Kong, October 22, 2025: The 76th Anniversary PRC Founding Celebration in Hong Kong, organized by The Asian Club Limited (亞會有限公司), the China Bangladesh Friendship Center-CBFC, and the Hong Kong Association of Naturalized Chinese Limited (HKANCL), is set to take place on October 26, 2025.
The event will feature a program designed to showcase unity and cross-cultural exchange within Hong Kong’s diverse society, anchored by the One China Policy, the “One Country, Two Systems” framework, and the Belt and Road Initiative.
Performances are anticipated from a lineup that includes Adrita Roy Akkhor of Bangladesh, Nepalese dancer RAI Myra Dumie, and the Indonesian group SANGGAR SRIKANDI HONG KONG, with plans to incorporate Cantonese and Filipino numbers to reflect the city’s multicultural fabric.
A prominent dais will host diplomats, government officials, and community leaders, with expected attendees such as the Consul General of Bangladesh, Dr. Shah Mohammad Tanvir Monsur; the Vice Consul General of the Philippines, Mr. George Mariano A. Soriano; and the Assistant District Officer for Yau Tsim Mong, Ms. Wong Si Tsai Ingrid, among others.
The National Anthem of the PRC is expected to be performed, followed by speeches from CBFC leadership, district officials, and chief guests. The program also includes a graduation ceremony for the Summer Cantonese Course, recognizing 32 graduates with certificates as part of the event’s focus on educational and cultural development. Special acknowledgments will be extended to District Councilor Aruna Gurung for her ongoing support and leadership in promoting equal opportunity and community engagement within Yau Tsim Mong District, and to sponsor Al Monin Chiwdhury for providing logistics support.
A vote of thanks will be delivered by Joint Organizing Committee Chair Dr. Fakhrul Islam Babu, after which additional cultural performances will close the evening. Attendees are advised to arrive early for security checks and seating, and to dress formally to reflect the ceremony’s tone. Dinner packets will be provided, with a reminder not to eat inside the hall to maintain decorum.
