On the occasion of 14th Anniversary of The Better Bangladesh Foundation -BBF , BBF has organized a conference on Engaging Youth in building a Smart Bangladesh to cope with 4IR . The role of youths in building ‘Sonar Bangla’ as dreamt by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and a true Smart Bangladesh dreamt by our Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
“The youth are the life force of society and future leaders of the country. Bangabandhu’s dream – ‘Sonar Bangla’ and ‘Smart Bangladesh’ – will be established by developing the country’s youths.
The Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, had called upon the young generation to get engaged in the reconstruction of the war-torn country. In continuance to his actions, unprecedented development of Bangladesh in the field of education has been achieved under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said by MASUD A. The government is working to ensure inclusive economic growth and is committed to implement economic plans and policies inclusive of backward communities besides adopting farmer-friendly and women and child-friendly programs said by

Better Bangladesh Foundation -BBF and BBF Global are broadly working on skills development and country branding by engaging youth as today’s youth is the ultimate future leaders and they are driving force of the country. They have to take the increasing challenges in building a true Smart Bangladesh. BBF Youth Leaders are working hard in doing so by encouraging young people all over the country , MASUD added in his speech.
Smart Bangladesh Vision 2041 is about more than a futuristic Bangladesh, more than 5G internet, more than 100% smartphone penetration, more than 100% high-speed internet penetration, and more than going cashless. Smart Bangladesh is about being inclusive, about the people, the citizens of the world.

The Better Bangladesh Foundation-BBF Global is a global platform that aims to facilitate collaboration and dialogue among policymakers, industry leaders, academics, and civil society organizations on issues related to the socioeconomic development of Bangladesh. The bbf was established by its Founder Chairman, Professor MASUD A. Khan, in 2009 as a not-for-profit concern registered by the Government of Bangladesh to promote inclusive and sustainable economic growth through digital and intelligent transformation. Better Bangladesh Foundation-BBF and BBF Global are highly engaged in country branding in a view to attracting foreign investment in Bangladesh. Saudi Ambassador Essa Yousef said, today’s youth can play a vital role in building a true Smart Bangladesh as the Father of the Bengali Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman has dreamt of a true Golden Bengal.
Ambassador of Japan Kiminori has said , Japan is always with Bangladesh and with the people of Bangladesh as a close development partner of Bangladesh.
EU Ambassador Charles Whiteley has said EU is committed to having a talent partnership with Bangladesh and for many reasons EU value so much the relationship between EU and BANGLADESH.
Brunei High Commissioner Haji Haris said , Brunei is always with Bangladesh as we are close brotherly countries.
The Summit was ended with grand gala cultural session.
