Around sixty participants from the HKSAR Government, HKTDC, various Chambers, different companies, SMEs, and Start-ups, along with some members of the Bangladesh community, attended a very interactive seminar on “Expanding Business Opportunities between Bangladesh and Hong Kong” on 28 November arranged by the Consulate General of Bangladesh in Hong Kong at the Chinese Manufacturers Association conference room. In her welcoming remarks, Consul General Ms. Israt Ara highlighted Bangladesh’s current economic and social performances and various incentives offered by Bangladesh and encouraged the potential business persons of Hong Kong to explore the business opportunities in Bangladesh. 
Dr. Patrick Lau of HKTDC, Dr. Wingco Lo, JP, Vice President of CMA, Mr. Felix Chang, Chairman of Evergreen Products Group, Ms. Pauline Ngan, BBS, JP, MD of Mainland Headwear Holdings Ltd. and Mr. Calvin Ngan, MD, South China Bleaching & Dyeing Factory Ltd. were the guest speakers who commended the socio-economic progress of Bangladesh. Participants of the seminar also highly appreciated the ‘timely initiative’ of the Consulate, as Hong Kong has recently reopened to the international world.
