The Minister of Information Technology, Communication and Innovation of Mauritius Deepak Balgobin met with the Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting of the Government of Bangladesh Mohammad Ali Arafat.
The meeting was held in Mauritius on Friday (April 26).
In the meeting, the Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting of Bangladesh discussed with the Minister of Information Technology of Mauritius about the strategy to deal with the spread of disinformation through social media.

It may be noted that the Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting of Bangladesh went to Mauritius on April 22 to participate in the first ministerial level conference on drug trafficking and drug abuse in the Western Indian Ocean region. Currently he is staying in Mauritius.
