Hon’ble Home Affairs Adviser visited Border Guard Hospital at Pilkhana

Honorable Home Affairs Adviser to Interim Government Brigadier General (Retd.) M. Sakhawat Hossain visited the Border Guard Hospital in Pilkhana to see the injured in the recent incident.

Hon’ble Home Affairs Advisor came to BGB HQ Border Guard Hospital in Pilkhana this morning. Meanwhile, he personally spoke to BGB members injured in recent incidents and students undergoing treatment at BGB Hospital and inquired about their treatment.

After that, the Honorable Advisor instructed all concerned including BGB Director General to ensure better medical care for the injured BGB members and students.

It may be noted that 03 BGB members were killed (out of them 02 were working in RAB) and 130 BGB members were injured in the recent incident. Also, several students of Bir Shrestha Noor Mohammad Public College and Bir Shrestha Munsi Abdur Rauf Public College were injured in the agitation. 03 of them have been given medical treatment and 03 more injured students are currently undergoing treatment at Border Guard Hospital Dhaka.

BGB Director General Major General Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman Siddiqui, OSP, BSP, SUP, NDC, PSC, MPhil and other senior officials of BGB headquarters were present during the visit of Honorable Home Advisor.
