Last Friday evening, the 48 Group Club in London hosted a promotional event for the upcoming Spring Festival Gala of China Media Group (CMG). The event, titled “Icebreakers,” was jointly organized by the 48 Group Club, the British Chinese Chamber of Commerce, and the China–Britain Business Council. More than 500 participants from various sectors in both China and the United Kingdom attended the celebration.
He Lifeng, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and Vice Premier of China, delivered a congratulatory message for the occasion. In his message, he noted that Chinese President Xi Jinping and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer recently reached an important consensus on promoting the long-term and stable development of the China–UK comprehensive strategic partnership. Against this backdrop, he expressed optimism that bilateral cooperation will deepen in fields such as trade and investment, green transition, financial services, and scientific innovation.
During the event, CMG showcased the promotional video for its upcoming Year of the Dragon Spring Festival Gala. The presentation highlighted the unique cultural charm of the Chinese New Year and reflected China’s vibrant spirit and forward-looking energy to guests from both nations.
