The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in collaboration with a2i has organised a consultation workshop, titled “Branding Consultation for Smart Bangladesh: Projecting Bangladesh in the International Forum,” on July 03, 2024 at the Ministry.
Foreign Secretary (Senior Secretary) Ambassador Masud Bin Momen inaugurated the consultation workshop. In his speech, the Foreign Secretary referred to the work on the MoFA stack and the schema for the Bangladesh stack. He invited all stakeholders to join forces for making an IDX platform active in branding Bangladesh. He further noted that branding is not just logos but creating a vision that inspires trust, sparks curiosity, and fosters pride in the very fabric of our collective institutional narrative. He called upon everyone to work together to shape a brand that embodies the spirit of a smarter, brighter, and more prosperous Bangladesh.
Representatives from Government Ministries/Agencies and private sector spoke about the challenges and solutions in projecting Bangladesh in international forums. They also discussed their areas of expertise that could contribute in branding Bangladesh. The workshop was anchored by Dr. Syed Muntasir Mamun, Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and moderated by Mr. Asfaq Zaman, Advisor, Strategic Development & Communications Aspire to Innovate (a2i) Programme.
