Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has arrived in Geneva, Switzerland, to participate in the second round of nuclear negotiations with Washington. The visit, which took place on Sunday, February 15, sees Araghchi leading a diplomatic and expert delegation for a series of high-level consultations.

According to Iran’s Mehr News Agency, Araghchi was invited by Wolfgang Brulhart, Switzerland’s Special Envoy for the Middle East and North Africa, to advance discussions with the United States. During his visit, he is scheduled to meet with the Swiss Foreign Minister, Omani officials, the Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, and other international representatives based in Switzerland.

In addition, Araghchi is expected to deliver a speech at the United Nations conference on disarmament, highlighting Iran’s diplomatic initiatives on nuclear issues.

Reports indicate that the Iran–U.S. nuclear dialogue is set to take place on Tuesday, February 17, under the mediation of Oman and with careful diplomatic coordination. This follows the previous round of talks held in Muscat, Oman, on February 6, which marked a continued effort to address nuclear concerns through dialogue and regional cooperation.
