Desk Report:The China Bangladesh Friendship Center (CBFC) awarded scholarships to deserving graduates of the local Yauma Kaifong Association School in Hong Kong on the morning of July 7.
China Bangladesh Friendship Center provides scholarships to various schools, colleges and universities in Bangladesh and China every year.
The Hong Kong Local Yaumati Kaifong Association awards scholarships to first, second, and third place students in various categories of graduate schools. This scholarship will be especially useful in their later life in higher education.
Previously, China Bangladesh Friendship Center provided hand sanitization and mask gifts to students in local schools during the Corona period. As a result of this good relationship, the school awarded the China Bangladesh Friendship Center with a certificate of appreciation and a special medal on the occasion of the school’s 55th anniversary. Since 2019, China Bangladesh Friendship Center has been associated with various activities of this school.
General Secretary of CBFC Fakrul Islam Babu along with his family attended the event. Fakhrul Islam Babu received the certificate and medal from the educational institution at the education scholarship ceremony.
Officers of the school’s education department and advisors of the Chinese Socialist Party’s education department were present as speakers at the graduation ceremony. Also principals of various schools, colleges and universities, presidents and secretaries of various associations, graduating students, parents of students, teachers and journalists. Everyone expressed the hope that the friendly relations between China and Bangladesh will increase day by day.
